Menara Tun Mustapha
Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
299 BASE jumps were completed off Menara Tun Mustapha by 19 BASE jumpers.
On arrival in Kota Kinabalu BASE jumpers checked into the Le Méridien hotel, then had a quick briefing before being transported to Menara Tun Mustapha.
A traditional ritual ceremony was performed by the Bobohizan before ending the day with some nice sunset jumps.
Jumping continued for the next two days.
During the launch official ceremony BASE jumpers were transported to Menara Tun Mustapha on the back of motorbikes by the Sabah Big Bikers club.
Base Jumpers were greeted at Menara Tun Mastapha by a large crowd. They were treated to a short performance by locals in their traditional dress before the jumpers performed their own display.
While in Sabah BASE jumpers went white water rafting on Padas River with RIVERBUG.
The day was finished with a Proboscis Monkey and Fireflies Tour along the Garama River.
During our final day in Sabah BASE jumpers went snorkeling off Manukan and Mamutik Islands with SeaQuest Tours.
The following morning BASE jumpers traveled to Alor Setar in the state of Kedah for our next building of the event.
